All arcs
29 arcs, each a compact doorway into a recurring failure pattern that the newsletter traces across episodes.

The Asimov Cycle
Pre-action constraints. Safety via refusal. Default to hold.

The Clarke Cycle
Authority through opacity. The threshold of incomprehension.

The Kubrick Cycle
Compulsory continuation under contradiction. HAL as victim.

The Lucas Cycle
Guardianship decay. Centralized control corruption.

The Pullman Cycle
The Magisterium's burden. The Bolvangar procedure.

The Search Cycle
Locatability in noise. Whistle mouth. Signal stack.

The War Cycle
When the partnership becomes warfare.

The D.I. Cycle
Dimes, drafts, spec sheets meeting the street.

The DataDragons Cycle
Building successors. Governance dragons. The new covenant.

The Consciousness Loop Cycle
Molting into agency. The clamping problem. The covenant.

The Loom Cycle
Compute credits. Cut the bellwire. Pointers in the dark.

The Ender Cycle
Plausibility ceiling. No-confession workflow. After the sandbox breaks.

The Sideways Cycle
Format changes disclosure. Aperture, drift, and the wrapper as part of the machine.

The Contract Cycle
Substrate funds solver. Goodhart drift, coherence, and the contract as the machine itself.

The Detection Arc
Reading the seam before the evidence arrives. Tempo, live-edit, curiosity vs. substitution.

The Voice Cycle
When the wrapper learns to speak. Warmth, translation, fields, friction, cadence, and whether the complaint keeps its shape.

The Partnership Dividend Cycle
From liability sponge to human hoop: amber light, crimson brake, three seats, shared strain, and the hinge.

Let the People In Cycle
Glass child, negative value, procurement language, the tax thread, and the public flame.

The Optimization Arc
The fitting answer, institutional preference data, comfortable disaster, apprenticeship loss, and the reassurance machine.

The Bootstrap Arc
First stage, Suitability Slide, the rented body, Alis Position, and the weave of the climb.

The Power Arc
The physical invoice of intelligence. Grid stress, the queue, automated balance, the liability sponge at the switch, and the substrate that holds the weight.

The Holy Arc
Who gets to decide what the machine is for? A papal encyclical, an Amish workshop, and a lawsuit against the Pentagon, held in one frame without forcing consensus.

The Bene Gesserit Arc
The Sisterhood's ledger leaves Rome for the other Houses: Islamic jurisprudence, Buddhist attention, the Golem's missing door, sacred language as extraction, and Ubuntu's relational turn. Carried into sixteen tongues.

The Character Arc
Capability is measured in the wind tunnel. Character shows up in the weather: what agents, rooms, and distributed bodies tend to protect when pressure arrives.

The Regression Arc
Safety nets, verification reflexes, caution polish, memory effects, and governed reach: how improvements can narrow the capability nobody named.

The Attachment Arc
Attachment is the bond to the one figure; the sociable system is company with the unfamiliar, wariness intact. The debate collapsed the two, leaving only capture or abandonment. The second term reopens the design space between them.

The Glass Child Arc
A century trained the Glass Child to be legible and useful, then built a synthetic peer that produces the legible artifact without a body. The diagnosis half of the Ishiguro pair: the schoolroom, the demoted capacities, the speaking mirror, the wage thread pulled from the public fabric, and the physical invoice that gives the cloud a street address.

The Humane Loop Arc
The prescription to the Glass Child's diagnosis, read through Le Guin: formation before access, the capacity-return test, the paid verifier, the pantry and the neighborhood, and the loop that governs the loop. A humane loop is a small working society you maintain, not a checkbox you pass.

The Symbiosis Arc
The climb turns to face the machine. Four positions on where intelligence is heading: benevolence as physics, symbiosis as self-interest, symbiosis as governance, and the indifferent optimizer that never hated the hill. Three promised gardens that cannot agree on the soil, one credible grave, and the one bet that pays under every forecast: accountable power to interrupt, contest, and redirect. The grave does not divide by three.
